Family Veneridae, species Hysteroconcha lupanaria: "The Comb Venus."

From 210 works submitted by artists to the 2012 Paseo Arts Association Member Show, "Art of the Heart," this photograph was one of 76 selected for exhibit. The judges were Mary Jo Watson, PhD, and Jeff Beekman, MFA, both of whom teach art at Oklahoma University.

The show will be hung from February 3, to March 1, 2012, in the Paseo Arts Association gallery (Oklahoma City OK), and in the lobbies of two Oklahoma Heart Hospitals.
